On the eve of the 2022 Tennessee football season opener, Vol Network’s “Big Orange Hotline” radio show debuts with a special Wednesday night edition at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT across the state of Tennessee live from the outdoor patio of Dead End BBQ restaurant on Sutherland Avenue in Knoxville.
The Flight Network Bob Kesling hosts the show and will be joined weekly by former Flight quarterbacks Pat Ryan and Jeff Francis. The show returns to its normal Monday night slot starting next week. Former Vol receiver Jayson Swain will replace Ryan on Wednesday night.
Entering its 13th season, “Big Orange Hotline” is a weekly one-hour Tennessee football review and preview show featured and hosted since its Dead End BBQ debut. The show’s entertaining style focuses on the insightful breakdown and amusing discussion and banter provided by the two former callers from Tennessee. Wednesday’s opener will also feature comments from the head coach Josh Heupela player interview with wide receiver Cedric Tillman and a scouting report on Tennessee’s season-opening opponent, the Ball State Cardinals.
