Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM have announced their latest original scripted podcast, Marvel’s Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show!is now available on all podcast platforms.

The new six-episode podcast series is written by Ryan North and directed by Giovanna Sardelli. Justin Huertas and Steven Tran provide original music for the series which stars Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Crystal Lucas Perry (Nancy Whitehead), Leo Sheng (Koi Boi), Davied Morales (Chipmunk Hunk), Peter Hermann ( Brain Drain), Erica Schroeder (Tippy T. Squirrel) and Tina Benko (Rachel Oskar).

For writer Ryan North, this marks another partnership with the superhero known as Squirrel Girl. Previously, North worked on the comic book series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl in 2015, with the series running for four years and garnering a huge cult fanbase among readers. The podcast series will primarily focus on Squirrel Girl creating a radio show from the Empire State University campus.

“Squirrel Girl has defeated Thanos and Doctor Doom, but now she faces something far more terrifying…living authentically,” reads the podcast’s official synopsis. “The new series follows Empire State University student Doreen Green, who was recently unveiled as a superhero – The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl! In hopes of unifying her personalities in the public eye, Squirrel Girl has created a new student radio show on ESU’s own college station. With the help of her best girlfriend, Nancy Whitehead as producer, and her squirrel best friend, Tippy-Toe in the booth, Doreen is ready to help more people than ever with her best superhero advice. And when the going gets tough, she can always lean on her heroic friends: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Chipmunk Hunk, Koi Boi and Brain Drain.
