Old Time Radio Show presents “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”

On Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9, popular band Old Time Radio Show returns to Creative 360 with “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.”

The show will be directed by Midland artist Carol Rumba and will feature John McPeak, David King, Todd Little, David Ritter, Victoria Ritter, Terri Schroeder, JoAnn Pobocik and Cheryl Felch.

The production includes live sound effects, known as foley, and original commercial jingles sung by the trio Ding, Dong and Dell. Pianist James Hohmeyer will be featured in the show along with violinist Susan Mercy.

“Having Susan play the violin really adds to the presentation,” Rumba said. “Sherlock Holmes was a violinist in all of the original stories. It really gives the show a sense of authenticity.

Filled with nostalgia, Creative 360 Old Time radio shows take audiences back in time to family entertainment of the 30s and 40s. Past presentations have included “Abbott and Costello”, “The Shadow” and “Gunsmoke”.
