After Indiana’s two-game winning week that included wins at home against No. 13 Ohio State and Minnesota, head coach Mike Woodson returns Monday night for his weekly radio show Inside UI Basketball, moderated by Don Fischer.

This week, Woodson recaps Indiana’s big win over the Buckeyes and their continued momentum after a second victory over the Golden Gophers. One of the biggest catalysts for the pair of wins was the return of sophomore guard Trey Galloway from injury, and Woodson explains how impactful getting Galloway back into the rotation was. Woodson also delves into the recent string of strong performances from Trayce Jackson-Davis, the resurgence and leadership of Rob Phinisee, and Indiana’s defensive mentality has really set the tone in recent weeks.

In the closing segments, Woodson and Fischer discuss a variety of topics, including Woodson’s thoughts on the current Big Ten landscape, how he’s adjusted to college officiating versus NBA officiating, and why mentorship young graduate coaches and assistants is so important to him. . Rounding out the show, Woodson is looking forward to Indiana’s road game against Iowa on Thursday night, including how the Hoosiers might go about slowing down the nation’s leading scorer, Keegan Murray.
