Motorola acquires Irish national digital radio service provider

TETRA Ireland provides critical LMR voice and data communications to thousands of first responders and frontline workers across national security and law enforcement agencies, health and emergency services, utilities and organizations volunteers across the country. The network is based on the latest TETRA digital radio technology from Motorola Solutions.

The investment in TETRA Ireland demonstrates Motorola Solutions’ commitment to growing its global managed services and support business, the company said. Motorola owns and operates networks and security operations centers around the world, helping customers work more productively and safely across a wide range of industries, including public safety, mining, oil and gas and public transport.
