After a three-point loss at Penn State to open the new year, Indiana head coach Mike Woodson returned Monday night to discuss the game on his weekly radio show. Inside Basketball UIwith host Don Fischer.

Woodson begins by detailing what went wrong for the Hoosiers in Happy Valley, particularly on the offensive end, and why he thinks IU still has a long way to go to compete in the Big Ten. Woodson also talks about the current UI rotation and what he’s been most happy with and what still needs tinkering. Later in the show, Fischer asks Woodson a number of miscellaneous questions, including how the coaching staff goes about scouting teams and watching movies, what the team mentality is, and how he views the current landscape. of the Big Ten. Woodson also previews IU’s upcoming game against Ohio State to close out his segment.

In the final segment, Indiana graduate manager Jacob Herrs joins the show to discuss his path to Indiana and how his playing career at Wichita State helped launch his career as a coach. Herrs also details what goes into being a certified manager and what the responsibilities entail.
