Listening Room relaunches GR Live radio show

The Studio Park Listening Room is relaunching WYCE’s remotely streamed radio show GR Live (88.1 FM) on Thursday.

The radio show, which will begin every Thursday at noon, will feature two musical acts, interviews with community event representatives and sponsorship messages.

“The return of GR Live is exciting for WYCE, musicians, non-profit organizations and the entire community,” said Jess Martin, WYCE Radio Station Manager. “Whether you’re back in the office, working from home, or just looking for something to do in downtown Grand Rapids on a Thursday, this is the best break you can take in the middle of your day. Where else can you eat lunch, listen to music, and tune in to what’s happening in West Michigan and beyond all at the same time? »

The remote radio broadcast will take place in either the Listening Room or Studio Park Plaza, both located in Studio Park’s Studio C entertainment complex at 123 Ionia Ave. SW to downtown Grand Rapids. Portions of the show will be available on

The complex includes One Twenty Three Tavern, an American tavern that will offer lunch services during the show. Customers who purchase at the Tavern can receive parking validation from the resort’s Studio Park parking garage.

WYCE is Grand Rapids’ only community-funded radio station that is operated by volunteers and managed by a small team at the Grand Rapids Community Media Center.
