Chris Cuomo steps down from SiriusXM radio show – Deadline


Chris Cuomo, the former CNN host fired from the network last week amid various misconduct allegations, is also quitting his SiriusXM radio show.

SiriusXM has confirmed that the show has been cancelled.

Cuomo announced his departure from the radio show in an Instagram post today, saying: “Although I have thick skin, I also have a family, for whom the last week has been extraordinarily difficult So, right now i have to take a step back and focus on what comes next.

The former CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time host today admits that “the way my time ended at CNN was tough.”

Cuomo did not host SiriusXM’s ET today noon installment Let’s go with Chris Cuomo. FFormer ABC News reporter Brian Ross responded.

In a statement, a SiriusXM spokesperson said, “Following Chris Cuomo’s announcement that he is leaving his SiriusXM show, Let’s Get After It will no longer air. We thank Chris for his work at SiriusXM.

During the weekend, Cuomo called his dismissal from CNN “wrongful” following a report that a junior colleague from another network came forward with an allegation of sexual misconduct. CNN had fired Cuomo after reviewing new information about the extent to which he helped his brother, Andrew Cuomo, as the latter faced allegations of sexual harassment. The governor of New York resigned in August.
